NSHSRA Membership
Information for Nevada High School and Junior High rodeo contestants, families, and personnel.
Membership overview
Contestant Membership
Full member, eligible to compete at sanctioned NSHSRA rodeos and the State Finals.
Junior High Division
For Junior High contestants in grades 5–8 (per NHSRA rules).
High School Division
For High School contestants in grades 9–12 (per NHSRA rules).
NHSRA Requirement
Contestants must hold a current National High School Rodeo Association membership for the season.
Nevada Requirements
Members must meet Nevada-specific eligibility (academic, residency, conduct) per the NSHSRA Rulebook.
Before you join
- Confirm your division — High School or Junior High.
- Review NHSRA and Nevada requirements — academic standing, residency, conduct.
- Gather required documents — membership application, medical release, eligibility forms.
- Watch entry deadlines — check the Schedule page for books-open dates.
- Contact NSHSRA with questions — the office is happy to help new families.
